In our case, the previous owner left a lot of stuff we thought we might use one day. It has been three years now, and it's time to say good-bye to things we haven't yet gotten around to using. However, that doesn't explain the proliferation of cardboard boxes in the garage. I like Ray's theory.
I'm an American from North Carolina who lives in France. I speak French and love French cooking, history, and language — not to mention life in the Touraine wine country. Over the years I've spent time in Provence, Normandy, Paris, Illinois, Washington DC, and California. My husband Walt and I have been together for 37 years — the last 17 of those in the Loire Valley.
